We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. It is the customer’s responsibility to review changes.

Eligibility to Use the Website



By using this website, you confirm that you:


  • Are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent/guardian.
  • Are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
  • Will use the website for lawful purposes only.






3. 

Product Information & Availability



We offer new PC components, peripherals, and custom-built PCs.

Product availability may change at any time due to supplier stock levels.


We make every effort to provide accurate descriptions, pricing, and images.

However, occasional errors may occur.

If a pricing or availability error occurs, we reserve the right to correct it or cancel the order.





4. 

Pricing & Payment



All prices include applicable taxes unless specifically stated otherwise.


Accepted payment methods include:


  • Credit and debit cards
  • Klarna
  • Clearpay
  • PayPal
  • Pay it Monthly
  • Bank transfer
  • Cash (for local orders)



By placing an order, you agree to pay the full amount listed at checkout, including delivery fees where applicable.


Failed payments, chargebacks, or fraudulent activity will result in cancellation of the order and may result in legal action.





5. 

Payment Plans & Installment Services



Third-party finance providers (Klarna, Clearpay, Pay it Monthly, PayPal Credit) have their own eligibility checks.

By choosing these options, you enter a contract with the finance provider, not Highlanderstore.


If your application is declined, Highlanderstore has no control over the decision.


Orders placed via finance will only be processed once the payment provider confirms approval.





6. 

Order Processing & Delivery



Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 working days.

Custom PCs may require 3–10 working days depending on workload, part availability, and testing requirements.


Delivery partners include Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, or other courier services.


Once shipped, delivery times are out of our control.


Customers must provide accurate address information. Orders lost due to incorrect addresses are the customer’s responsibility.





7. 

Custom PC Builds



Custom PCs are built to the customer’s chosen specifications.


Before dispatch, each PC undergoes:


  • Hardware checks
  • Thermal testing
  • Stability and performance testing
  • BIOS optimisation
  • Windows installation (where purchased)



By ordering a custom PC, you agree that:


  • Build times may vary.
  • Changes after the order may incur extra cost.
  • Returns differ from normal returns (see Return Policy).
  • Highlanderstore is not responsible for user-caused damage after delivery.






8. 

Returns, Faults & Warranty



Our full Return & Refund Policy applies to all orders.


Key points:


  • 30-day return window for eligible items.
  • Custom PCs can only be returned due to confirmed faults.
  • User-caused damage (dust, liquid, overheating, incorrect installation, etc.) is not covered.
  • Faulty items must be tested before a refund or replacement is approved.
  • After 30 days, manufacturer warranty applies where relevant.






9. 

User-Caused Damage



We are not liable for any damage caused by:


  • Incorrect installation of components
  • Inadequate ventilation or dust buildup
  • Overheating caused by user modifications
  • Liquid spills or AIO cooler leaks due to improper installation
  • Electrical damage from unstable power or adapters
  • BIOS tampering or unsafe overclocking
  • Damage caused by attempting repairs without proper knowledge



Any such damage voids warranty and support.





10. 

Technical Support



We provide lifetime basic support for all custom PCs purchased from Highlanderstore.


This does not cover:


  • Hardware replacement outside warranty
  • Damage caused by user modification
  • Issues arising from third-party software
  • Operating system damage caused by user error
  • Overclocking support



Advanced services may incur additional charges.





11. 

Limitation of Liability



Highlanderstore is not responsible for:


  • Loss of data
  • Software corruption
  • Financial loss from downtime
  • Incompatibility caused by third-party hardware or software
  • Delivery delays beyond our control



Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the order.





12. 

Privacy & Data Protection



We protect customer data in accordance with UK GDPR.


Information you provide will only be used for:


  • Processing orders
  • Providing customer support
  • Fraud prevention
  • Marketing (where consent is given)



We do not share your data with unauthorised third parties.





13. 

Prohibited Uses



You must not use the site or products for:

Cancellations



Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

Custom PC orders may incur restocking or labour fees if work has already begun.
